I have recently completed my Personal Training Specialist Certification with canfitpro.
I'm really excited about launching this part of my movement career and here's what you can expect from me as a Certified Personal Trainer (hint: it's no different than what you can expect from me as a Nia teacher).
Here's my first offering.
What?
A short series of group Personal Training sessions designed for beginners with options for standing and seated exercise.
The focus will be on whole body strength and flexibility training.
No particular equipment is needed, however if you want you can use a small pair of handweights (1 or 2 pounds) or the following household objects: filled water bottles, canned foods.
You may also appreciate having a set of resistance bands, but this is not necessary. If you want some, you may like this set (I went looking at Sport Chek but couldn't find any there...).
Having a chair handy (whether you are standing or sitting during the class) may also be helpful.
We'll share a welcoming, safe, affirming and joyful space to celebrate our bodies and our lives! Come as you are and be exactly who you are.
Who?
For beginners. No experience necessary. There are standing and seated movement options.
Why?
To experience feel-good strength building movements and flexibility together.
When?
Mondays 9-9:45am ET May 30, June 6 & June 13 - online via Zoom. Replays are available if you can't attend all 3 sessions.
How much?
$30 for 3 sessions. Please contact me if you would like to participate and are unable to manage the fee.
