COVID-19 Policies and Procedures
At this time, virtual care is the safest option to ensure your health and well-being. However, where virtual care is not possible and home visits are necessary, please know that extensive efforts will be made to ensure a contactless and sanitized treatment experience.
Prior to scheduling:
- please complete the COVID-19 patient screening form found by clicking here: COVID-19 Patient Screening
- please return the complete form via email
- if you pass the COVID-19 screening, we will schedule an appointment
- please prepare for the appointment by obtaining a face shield (please let me know if you need support with this)Before our appointment:
- please select an area in your home where it will be possible to maintain physical distancing (2 metres/6 feet apart)
- if possible, please sanitize that area prior to my arrival
- please make sure to have some blank or lined paper and a pen or pencil for yourself
- I will sanitize all materials that I bring into your homeAt the appointment:
- I will arrive wearing a mask and face shield and gloves and will wear them throughout the appointment
- I ask that you also wear (at least) a face shield for the duration of your appointment
- You can wear a face mask and/or gloves if you wish, but this is not mandatory
- We will maintain a distance of 2 metres (6 feet) apart at all times
- If family members would like to participate in the session, I ask that they also maintain a distance of 2 metres (6 feet) apart at all times
- Before beginning the assessment I will sanitize my gloved hands and will encourage you to do the same
- We will do the same at the end of the appointmentAfter the appointment:
- After leaving your home I will remove my mask, face shield and gloves
- I will dispose of the gloves and sanitize the mask and face shield ; I encourage you to do the same
