10 Thoughts About Family
So today is Family Day. Family… what does that even mean?
There are so many definitions of family, my favourite one, from a Tweeter I follow, is that family is “a group of people who love, trust, and support each other”. Related or not, another person stated that family goes hand in hand with “complicated love”.
This thought gallery you see on the left comes from the Family Day Nia class I co-taught with my teacher Martha Randall today.
We had a great turn-out (of kids and adults) and these are the submissions to our gallery of family-related phrases:
* struggle through love
* fun
* mom & dad
* loving
* support
* heart!
* people who knew you when and still love you
* joy
* love the struggle
* mom & dad
The struggle is the most interesting concept to me. It’s true! Families are LOTS of work. But as this person indicated, struggle can be paired with love…
I love that first quote 😉
